Since 2006, Erik Gabrielson has been working the lands of Mas Zenitude in Languedoc Roussillon, between the villages of Lagamas and St Jean de Fos,
a true golden triangle of Languedoc, with respect of the nature, the vines and the environment. A simple life in autonomy which he dedicates today to the manufacture of his wine in the ancestral way, presence of horses, manual harvesting, biodynamic agriculture. He is doing a short maceration in cement followed by a very slow and gentle press, the wine then goes in either terracotta or sandstone amphoras. Nothing is added, not even sulphite, it's only the grapes. Erik believes wine is made above all in the vines, it is up to us to accompany the beautiful grapes and honor the work of nature. |
