The vineyard at a glance
Located in the heart of Languedoc, a promising wine region, 35 km North-West of Montpellier, the wine property covers 4 hectares of vines biodynamically cultivated.
Our aim is to enhance the vitality of the environment not only in the wines but also in the garden where we grow ancient varieties of local plants and herbs. Since 2007 when the property was acquired and the biodynamic reconversion started, we have noticed the return of native birds, insects and animals to the mas.
In 2009, we designed the winery to snugly fit a crave a few meters from the mas, probably where the stones to build the property were taken from. Inside, you can still see the rock behind the tanks and in the back completely surrounded by rocks we have created the barrel cellar: the rock enables to maintain a constant perfect temperature in the winery. This setting creates a subtle presence in the natural environment and facilitates a gravity-flow process of the grapes when put in the tanks for fermentation.
